We had a great weekend watching the Giants win the Superbowl and celebrating my daughter, Neela’s third birthday!  I am a last minute type of planner and this year was no different while planning her birthday party.  I think about getting it done and then next thing you know time has snuck up on me and then I have to get everything ready at the last minute.  Even so, I was able to get a Ladybug from Parties by Stacey to entertain the kids at her party with face painting, balloon art and games.  Having the Ladybug entertain the kids gave us parents a nice little break and the only other time the kids were that content was when they were eating the Vegan Favorite Chocolate super moist, super delicious cake from Buttercelli Organic Bakeshop.  We also had a gluten and soy free lemon cake from them which was so very lemony.  With every bite, you could tell they used real lemons and the filing tasted like lemon pie!  I tried to accommodate all of the children’s allergy concerns, including my daughter’s egg allergy; Buttercelli was able to do that along with Zpizza in Porter Ranch.  They have a gluten free crust and also a vegan cheese that we had on one pizza because of a dairy allergy.  We love Zpizza because of their original and gourmet pizzas, sandwiches, salads and pasta selections.  My favs are the ZBQ and Casablanca pizzas, the Super Sub sandwich and all of their salads.  I haven’t tried the pasta yet, but I am sure it is good.  I have not been disappointed by anything we have ordered from them and we usually get delivery 1-2 times a month.  (Pictures will be displayed later today on our Macaroni Kid San Fernando Valley Facebook)
